While we’re waiting on the definitive Ad Age post-mortem on just how that hideous Pepsi ad starring Kendall Jenner came to be, here’s one hypothetical behind-the-scenes look courtesy of Saturday Night Live. The thought of not seeking out a diverse variety of opinions on a major ad campaign that references legitimately important (and controversial) political movements until right before the cameras roll is almost impossible to believe, and yet that ad really did exist in this here real world somehow.
