Chance the Rapper hosted Saturday Night Live tonight, which means it was one of the rare occasions where the show’s regular musical monologues actually made sense. Chance’s big debut as a host fittingly had a Thanksgiving theme, as he whipped up a special song for a holiday that doesn’t have any hits. And of course he gets some help from basically the entire SNL cast, including Kenan Thompson on a Rascal.
This actually might be Chance’s weakest performance from SNL: he was maybe the best host of the season so far, and had an even funnier musical performance later in the episode. Keep an eye on Paste for that in a little bit.
