The Daily Show to Unveil The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library

When one thinks of our current President, what comes to mind first? His luxuriously orange, physics-defying comb-over? Or is it his boyish charm, always throwing a thumbs-up approval with a cheeky grin? No, nine times out of 10, it’s that damned Twitter feed where he’s gone on more insane tirades than one could even begin to count. Is this what he’ll be remembered for? Most likely, but why wait until he’s out of office, whether that’s sooner or later?

In a move that is kind of elegantly brilliant, The Daily Show has announced a new library—like, an actual brick-and-mortar structure—commemorating the one, the only, President Donald J. Trump. The Daily Show Presents: The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library will showcase “our Commander in Chief’s preferred vessel for communicating with the public, his Twitter feed.” And what a treat it will be, to go out and read some vile, hateful things in public.

Comedy Central commented on the announcement in a press release, saying, “The Daily Show Presents: The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library will open in June, and it will be tremendous. It will be so tremendous that you’ll get tired of the tremendousness, so it will then close only a few days later. Sad!”

The Donald J. Trump Presidential Twitter Library will be free and open to the public in New York City sometime in June—exact dates and more details are TBA. Tremendous!
