Exclusive First Look: Emily Pearson & Pat Shand Bring Snap Flash Hustle to Black Mask

Emily Pearson, artist on The Wilds, and Pat Shand, writer of Breathless, are two of Black Mask’s most recent rising stars, and Paste has an exclusive peek at their upcoming collaboration, Snap Flash Hustle. First teased at San Diego Comic-Con and arriving in November, Snap Flash Hustle follows a young “alternative model” who throws herself headfirst into an underground narcotics ring run by New York City’s elite models. In addition to an official synopsis, Paste has your first look at the debut issue’s covers, featuring art from Pearson, Submerged artist Lisa Sterle and Nancy Drew’s Jenn St-Onge.
