Macbook Gets Even More Simplified in Parody Commercial

Last Monday, Apple announced the new Macbook at their media event in San Francisco. Paste’s own Jonathan Keane covered the new design, including the laptop being made even thinner at 13.1 mm, an improved battery life and now only comes with one port, the new USB-C port; a decision that has been divisive amongst users. All these changes to the Macbook demonstrate their prioritization of one element over all else: simplicity.

Cinesaurus has an opinion on Apple’s vision of the new notebook: You’re not doing enough. They’ve released their own video detailing the changes that Apple should have gone further with, in the same iconic and minimalistic style as Apple’s own commercials. Don’t rush too fast to buy the new Macbook at your nearest Apple store and watch the parody above. You can also watch the original announcement of the new Macbook below.
