Duvel Special Collection Glasses

Drink Features

As you already know, the best beer is even better when served in the right glassware. Options abound, but we love Duvel’s limited-edition collection of tulip glasses. The Belgian beer powerhouse started partnering with a handful of established international artists in 2010 to create a series of one-of-a-kind vessels for your favorite microbrews.

Sculptor Arne Quinze transforms his typical aesthetic working with recycled wooden planks to create a scattered design that pays homage to Claude Monet, and Belgian recording artist and graphic designer Daan emblazons his own visage on his glass with echoes of iconic images of Johnny Cash and Frank Sinatra, while fashion designers Eley Kishimoto leverages the bold use of black and gold graphic patterns that look like tiny, mutated lightning bolts embracing your beer.

The tulip glasses are available in one of two sizes, the smaller with a .25-liter fill line. These collectors’ items are floating on eBay and can be purchased directly from Duvel’s site, but for the best price, visit Brewery Ommegang, which has all the designs (as well as a few old models) for $5 to $10. Or snag a three-pack of the glasses for $30 (with free shipping) at Let’s Pour, but hurry, quantities are limited.
