Your Twin Peaks Season 3 Wine Pairing Guide: Episode 11

In honor of Dougie Jones / Cooper finally getting a taste of cherry pie, your wine pairing for part 11 is Precept Wines’ Cavatappi Maddalena Nebbiolo. No super-complicated puns here. The wine is loaded with northwest pie cherry notes that kind of jump out of the glass. It has a deep rich color which will, while you’re watching, definitely evoke garnets and not, say, blood. Tight acidity, some spice and plum on the finish, but that nose is all about pie cherries. Which you can optimize by letting it swirl like that big scary vortex in the sky over Buckhorn, SD. Cheers!
