What To Drink at Outside Lands This Weekend
Mumford and Sons, Wilco, Hot Chip, Sir Elton John will all be taking the stage in San Francisco this weekend at the city’s annual Outside Lands Festival. If you’re headed to Golden Gate Park this weekend for the festivities, then you should not only start planning your concert schedule (if you don’t already have an iron-clad plan), but what you plan on drinking as well.
As always, this year the festival has a pretty epic Beer Lands and Wine Lands lineup. Both have a number of awesome libations planned. Wine Lands this year (located in Lindley Meadow) is also trying out a new cashless payment system. Your wristband for the festival will work not only as your ticket into the park for the festival, but also as your digital wallet while sipping on vino in Wine Lands. You can add cash to your bracelet via top up stations in the park, or online before you get there. If you plan on drinking a lot of wine this weekend, the festival is also offering a $5 bonus for every $75 you add to your bracelet. What you don’t use will be refunded back to your card at the end of the festival, minus a $3.50 processing fee.
Curious about what options you’ll have this weekend? Here’s the official wine and beer lineup. We’ve put our top 5 in each category in bold, if you’re looking for suggestions on where to start your planning.
