“Clothing Optional” London Pop-Up Restaurant Requires Bare Necessities to Dine

The British cultural center that is London is known for offering some unique pop-up eateries, including Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones-themed dining experiences. The Bunyadi might take the cake though—or rather you clothes.

The restaurant is a clothing optional space, where you aren’t just free from your cotton and wool, but phones and electric lights. Essentially, if you are looking to get back to your most natural beginnings, Bunyandi is the perfect way to “revisit the beginning where everything was fresh, free and unadulterated from the trappings of modern life.”

The pop-up restaurant, which officially opens to the public in June, will have a section exclusively for customers who’d rather eat in the buff, providing a “Pangea-like world” that offers restaurant attendees some “true liberation,” according to the restaurant’s owner Seb Lyall. You don’t have to show up to the eatery in the nude, though. Once you arrive there are changing rooms for those looking to shed a few pounds before putting them back.

“We have worked very hard to design a space where everything patrons interact with is bare and naked,” Lyall told the IBTimes. “The use of natural bamboo partitions and candlelight has enabled to us to make the restaurant discreet, whilst adhering to the ethos behind it.”

If you aren’t into the dining concept but not the lack of clothing, don’t worry. There is a section where you can eat like the rest of us. That is if you can get through the 11,000 person-long waiting list.
