Over the last couple weeks, Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become our new favorite coping mechanism as well as an astute meme machine. Looking at some of the content being generated by Animal Crossing fans, we’ve begun to wonder if we’re playing the same game—some users out there clearly time traveled along with their switch to 2030.
Whether it’s recreating music videos, tarantulas being wholly more scary than Resident Evil 3’s Nemesis, moments that just happen to coincide perfectly with the current quarantine situation or Pietro the clown merely existing, the game is rife with infinite funny opportunities and we’ve collected some of the absolute best here.
