ARK: Survival Evolved is Coming to PlayStation 4

Games News Ark: Survival Evolved

Today Studio Wildcard has announced ARK: Survival Evolved for PlayStation 4. This hardcore survival game (basically a video game version of Naked and Afraid—with dinosaurs) is already available in Early Access on Steam and the Xbox Preview Program on Xbox One. Now it will also be open to PlayStation 4 players in the form of ARK: Survivor’s Pack, a combination of the base game ARK: Survival Evolved, and its first expansion Scorched Earth, all for $54.99.

Players on both Steam and Xbox One have been receiving a steady stream of content additions, and PlayStation 4 will be subject to the same updates upon the game’s release. PlayStation 4 players will also get some exclusive items in the form of a Bionic Giganotosaurus skin “plus an entire Manticore armor set for all male and female characters”. The game, a full version of which is expected in spring 2017, allows players to breed, tame, and ride over 100 different dinosaurs and prehistoric beasts, as well as craft shelter and weaponry, make fertilizer and grow crops, form tribes, instigate tribal warfare, and more.

Sony fans can start crafting their own personal Jurassic Park starting December 6, 2016, when the game launches in its current form on PlayStation 4.
