Dark Horse and Nintendo Announce ARMS Graphic Novel at NYCC
Art by Joe Ng/Dark HorseAs fun as Nintendo’s Arms can be, some players were disappointed by its lack of a proper story mode. In lieu of that, it looks like Arms fans will instead receive a series of graphic novels set in the game’s universe, courtesy of Dark Horse Comics. The news comes during the 2017 New York Comic-Con.
Dark Horse announced on their website the “new publishing program” for the game. Previously, Dark Horse and Nintendo collaborated on art books for The Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem Awakening and Splatoon. There are no other details on what the contents of these graphic novels will be at the moment, but expect to see the first of them beginning in fall of 2018.
This is a perfect opportunity for Nintendo to answer the several questions we’ve had about the lore of Arms for quite some time. The game recently received an update that allows players to customize controls.
