BioShock: The Collection Announced, Remastered Versions of All Three Games

Games News Bioshock

After a series of leaks, 2K Games has officially announced BioShock: The Collection, which will include remastered versions of BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite, along with all the single-player DLC for all three games. It is releasing on Sept. 13 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The collection will also come with “Director’s Commentary: Imagining BioShock,” a new video series featuring Ken Levine and Shawn Robertson, the director and animation director of BioShock and BioShock Infinite, respectively.

The remaster is being done by Blind Squirrel Games and will run $60. BioShock 2 will not include the multiplayer mode (though no one really played that much in the first place). BioShock Infinite will also not be remastered on PC because, as 2K says, “It already meets current-gen console standards and runs smoothly on high visual settings.” We’re looking forward to returning to this monumental series (especially those of us that haven’t played BioShock 1).
