Gearbox Announces Borderlands 3 Release Date with New In-Game Footage Trailer

Gearbox Software and 2K have released a new trailer for Borderlands 3 to announce the game’s Sept. 13 release on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

It was also announced that the Windows PC version of the looter-shooter will be released on the same day, but will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store until April 2020.

The classically stylized trailer features a first look at its chaotic in-game footage, and the triumphant return of split-screen co-op mode. It also introduces the game’s four new playable and customizable characters, and their antagonists, the Calypso Twins.

From the PlayStation Blog post regarding the new Vault Hunters:

Moze is a nimble soldier who can digistruct and hop into her mech—Iron Bear—anytime she needs some additional firepower. Amara is a Siren who can summon ethereal fists to pound enemies. Zane is a semi-retired hitman who can cause chaos with his Digi-clone and other gadgets. And FL4K is a wandering robot who’s always accompanied by one of their loyal and battle-hardened pets.

Embrace the mayhem with the trailer below.
