Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy Coming to New Platforms Two Weeks Early
Images via ActivisionActivison’s Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy hit PlayStation 4 last year with enough success that its eventual release on other consoles was inevitable, so there was little surprise when the game was announced for Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam on July 10. That date doesn’t appear to be early enough for the publisher, though.
Activision announced on Thursday morning that Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy will launch nearly two weeks early on new platforms. The remastered collection of the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy will now land on June 29.

The motivation for moving up the release date is unknown, though Activision stated that “fan reaction to the news” of Crash coming to new platforms influenced the decision. Regardless, it’s outstanding news for fans wanting to spin and smash all over again.
