Team-Based Zombie Shooter Dead Alliance Hits Open Beta in Late July

If zombies and team-based shooters are your cup of tea, you’ll want to get your hands on Maximum Games’ Dead Alliance open beta from July 27-31.

Dive into the post-apocalyptic world with a gaggle of pals and take on warring factions in a battle of survival and wits over the remnants of humanity. But, there’s a catch. The zombies are more than just enemies; they can be your allies, too. Use special weapons called zMods to take control of the zombies and use them to turn the tide of battle.

The beta will only allow looks at the multiplayer portion of the game, but you’ll be able to check it out on PS4, Xbox One and PC. The final version of the game will include a single-player campaign, 4v4 multiplayer, team deathmatch, free-for-all, king of the hill, capture and hold, solo survival and MOBA mockery Attrition mode. The full game will launch on Aug. 29.
