Donald Trump Bragged About Selling a Type of Fighter Jet Only Found in Call of Duty

President Trump welcomed Norwegian Prime Minister Erna Solberg on Wednesday, and, while promoting the growing defense relationship between the two nations, gushed about the delivery of a number of F-52 fighter jets to the Scandinavian nation.

“In November we started delivering the first F-52s and F-35 fighter jets,” boasted Trump. “We have a total of 52 and they’ve delivered a number of them already a little ahead of schedule.”

What Trump didn’t realize was that the plane he bragged about, publically, in the White House, in front of a foreign leader, only exists in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.

According to The Washington Post, Trump’s latest flub is more than likely a product of him combining the “F” designation with the number of jets, 52, listed as being delivered in the prepared statement from which he read.

It’s the rare case of a comment being both outdated (the game was released in 2014) and debasedly speculative (the game is set in 2054).
