ELEAGUE’s Second Season Begins with Preview Special Tonight

Games News ELEAGUE

ELEAGUE, the competitive Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament, is set to kick off its second season with a one-hour special tonight on TBS.

The special will be a preview of the upcoming group stage with eSports journalists Richard Lewis and Duncan “Thorin” Shields, and former pro CS:GO player Jason “Moses” O’Toole set to host.

ELEAGUE preliminary rounds took place in September, with the winners from that moving on to the group stage. 16 teams have been divided into four groups to compete in a double elimination tournament, with the top two teams of each group moving on to the quarterfinals in late November.

The group stage will begin on Oct. 21 at midnight, airing on Fridays and Saturdays until the final match on Nov. 19.

The special will air tonight, Friday, Oct. 14, on TBS after coverage of the Major League Baseball playoffs ends at midnight. It will also be streaming on Twitch.
