Here’s the Newest Trailer for Ghost Recon Wildlands’ Live-Action Prequel

If you’re bummed that Ghost Recon Wildlands’ beta ended today and you need something to hold you over until next month’s release, we might have found the next, next best thing.

Feb. 16 will see the premiere of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands: War Within the Cartel, the live-action prequel to the forthcoming Ubisoft game, via the developer’s Twitch Channel. The film will then be immediately available via Amazon Prime Video after the stream’s conclusion.

War Within the Cartel tells the story of the Santa Blanca drug cartel, led by the creepily face-tattooed El Sueño. After their compound is attacked, the organization’s various leaders struggle to find the traitor within their ranks. The plot will lead directly into the beginning of Wildlands’ story, where the elite unit of “Ghosts” are called in to bring down the drug empire.

If such a film sounds interesting to you, go ahead and check out its trailer above. For an extended look at the game itself, you can check out over 20 minutes of gameplay footage here. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands will be out for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on March 7.
