Australian and Korean Ratings Boards Hint at New Hitman Title

IO Interactive is still supporting their reinvigorating 2016 installment of the long-running Hitman series, but they may be cooking up some new silly stealth scenarios on the side.

According to the ratings boards for Australia and Korea, a new Hitman title appears to be in the works for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, under the title Hitman: Sniper Assassin. No official announcement has been made by IO Interactive.

According to the listings, the title was submitted for rating as early as February and has already received a rating from both ratings boards, which could hint that the next set of targets could be ready to reveal soon, perhaps setting the stage for an E3 unveiling.

For now, we’ll all have to wait, but those with less patience can pick up the “Definitive Edition” of 2016’s Hitman on May 15.
