This weekend, at the E-Sports League (ESL) Mortal Kombat X Pro League Season 3 Finals, Ed Boon will reveal the first gameplay from Injustice 2. Boon was the creative director on Mortal Kombat X and will take on the same role in Injustice 2. The tournament will be streamed on developer NetherRealm’s Twitch channel, twitch.tv/NetherRealm, and the gameplay reveal will be Saturday, June 11, at 5 p.m. PST/8:00 p.m. EST.
Injustice 2 was revealed earlier this week with a trailer that showed off new characters like Supergirl and alluded to new mechanics, such as the ability to upgrade characters and and change out their armor and abilities. Injustice 2 is releasing on PS4 and Xbox One in 2017, and will be featured at E3 2016 next week.
