Nintendo Direct Announced: Details and Where to Watch

Nintendo has announced their next Nintendo Direct presentation to be taking place tomorrow, Wednesday, June 21 at 7:00 A.M. PST/10:00 A.M. ET.

In the announcement posted to Twitter, Nintendo stated that the presentation will be about 40 minutes long and will primarily focus on games releasing later this year, with the announcement specifically confirming more details to be released on Pikmin 4.

The presentation will be streamed live to Nintendo’s website and their YouTube channel.

Following the last major Direct in February of this year, this indicates that Nintendo is sticking with the rough schedule they’ve had for big Directs since the presentations returned from hiatus in 2021: three per year, one in February, one in June, and one in September.

Much of Nintendo’s plans for the rest of the year are a mystery, with their only confirmed first-party releases being Everybody 1-2 Switch and Pikmin 4, both of which are releasing this summer. We can likely expect this Direct to fill out the remainder of the schedule for the year with new announcements.

Other games we can probably expect to see include the recently announced Persona 3 Reload, which just recently had a Switch version leaked, and the Switch-exclusive Baten Kaitos I & II HD Remaster, which recently had a new trailer revealing its release date.

Unknowns for the presentation include whether we will hear anything about oft-rumored new hardware, which Nintendo has confirmed will not be releasing until at least the start of next fiscal year, and the ever-elusive Metroid Prime 4, one of the few announced games still yet to be released now that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is finally out.

For all of this, we’ll have to wait for tomorrow morning to see what’s in store. You can watch the livestream once it starts here:
