Where to Catch Nintendo’s Splatoon 2 and Arms E3 Expo Tournaments

Nintendo’s E3 Expo plans don’t include a physical conference, but they do include live tournaments from the show floor. Both the Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational and Arms Open Invitational will be streamed live on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch Channels.

The Splatoon 2 World Inkling Invitational will take place on Tuesday, June 13 at 5:30 p.m. EDT. The tournament will feature four-on-four battles from teams all over the world, Deadbeat from the U.S., Dynameu from Japan, Rising Moon from Europe and Blue Ringed Octolings from Australia/New Zealand. The first rounds will be Turf Wars, followed by Ranked Battles. Semi-final rounds will be a best-of-five, and the finals will be a best-of-seven.

And of course, before the tournaments begin, expect a wave of new Splatoon 2 content from Nintendo.

The next day, the Arms Open Invitational will start throwing hands at 6:30 p.m. EDT. This one will pit four pros against E3 attendees who qualify during the event. Pro players include Alex Valle, Kelsy “SuperGirlKels” Medeiros, Daniel “Tafokints” Lee and Marie-Laure “Kayane” Norindr. And Super Smash Bros. broadcasters D1 and VikkiKitty will join the fray as commentators.
