By now, it’s pretty much common knowledge that Brooklyn-99 star Terry Crews really, really wants to play Doomfist in Overwatch.
Over the last month or so, the actor has made it clear via Twitter, Facebook and Reddit that he’d love to voice an incarnation of the long-rumored, transgenerational Overwatch hero. He’s stirred up a fan campaign so large, even The Rock is publicly rooting for him:
???? Co-sign. Known TC for years and this man’s voice even has bad assery muscles. ???????????? Fans would luv it. #Doomfisthttps://t.co/d2Kni3MJbn

Over the weekend, Crews took matters into his own hands in a Yahoo eSports video as he performed a mini-audition for the Blizzard character. Intercut with Doomfist-referencing moments from Overwatch’s 2014 cinematic announcement trailer, Crews delivered a few potential lines for the massively muscled character.
