Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC, the existence of which a pair of Rockstar programmers tipped folks to months ago, will include various “graphical and technical enhancements for increased immersion,” per Rockstar, along with free access to the world of Red Dead Online, complete with all improvements and updates, as well as new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts and Weapons.
Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC comes to the Rockstar Games Launcher first, where it’s available for pre-purchase starting Oct. 9. Later this month, the port moves to the Epic Games store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop and additional digital retailers, all before coming to Steam in December.
Regular old Red Dead Redemption 2 is out now on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the PC iteration will also be a Google Stadia launch title in November.
Rockstar plans to reveal the PC port’s first screenshots, system specifications and additional details when Rockstar Games Launcher pre-purchases open on Oct. 9.
