This Sekiro Player Is Beating Bosses Just by Throwing Money at Them

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is the latest game from Japanese developer FromSoftware, and it has quickly built up a reputation for being one of the most challenging titles out there today.

In addition to shorter enemy encounters, some platforming and inventory management, Sekiro is also packed to the brim with crushingly difficult boss battles—the kind of fights that FromSoftware has become known for after Bloodborne and the Dark Souls series.

Because of this challenge, players have been consistently coming up with mods meant to alleviate some of the pressure (as well as some that are just downright silly). Now, a creative Sekiro player is attempting to beat the game’s many bosses by just throwing money at them (referred to as the Sen Throw Shinobi Prosthetic in the game). YouTuber Tyrannicon has defeated eight total bosses in this fashion so far, including Genichiro, Snake Eyes Shirafuji, Gyobu Oniwa, Lady Butterfly, Emma the Gentle Blade, Lone Shadow Longswordsman, Seven Ashina Spears and the Armored Warrior.

It’s not certain that Tyrannicon will be able to complete the whole game using this method, but many sure are rooting for them to do so.

Watch the self-proclaimed “Sekiro Guru” make it rain death below.
