Bryan Cranston Cast as Zordon in Power Rangers Reboot

Emmy winner and Oscar nominee Bryan Cranston is widening his horizons with his next role: Zordon in the Power Rangers reboot.

The Breaking Bad and Trumbo actor announced his role as the Rangers’ mentor on Twitter Tuesday night.

Zordon’s nemesis, Rita Repulsa, will be played by Elizabeth Banks. Naomi Scott, Becky G., RJ Cyler, Ludi Lin and Dacre Montgomery will star as the Power Rangers.

The film premieres on March 24, 2017.
