Watch the New Trailer for Poland’s Oscar Submission, Cold War
Photos by Lukasz BakAmazon Studios has shared a new trailer for Ida writer-director Pawel Pawlikowski’s acclaimed Cold War, Poland’s submission for Best Foreign Language Film at the 91st Academy Awards.
Set against the backdrop of the Cold War in the 1950s, Cold War follows the love story between musical director Wiktor Warski (Tomasz Kot) and young singer Zula Lichon (Joanna Kulig).
The acclaimed film made the Best Foreign Language Film shortlist for the 91st Academy Awards, and was featured among Paste’s 50 best movies of 2018. You can also read Paste’s full rave review of Cold War here.
