Watch the Eerie New TV Spot for Ghost in the Shell

Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks just dropped a teaser for the new TV spot for Ghost in the Shell. This comes before a longer trailer that will run during Sunday night’s Super Bowl LI. Ghost in the Shell stars Scarlett Johansson, Michael Pitt and Juliette Binoche.

Directed by Rupert Sanders, the film follows the Major (Johansson), a cyborg policewoman trying to stop a nefarious hacker, Kuze (Pitt), from wiping out Hanka Robotic’s advancement in cyber technology. It’s based off of a popular manga-turned-anime by Masamune Shirow. The teaser doesn’t feature a ton of new footage, but there is an eerie shot of Kuze removing the Major’s face, revealing the gears and wires underneath.
