Rose Byrne Falls for a Rock Star Ethan Hawke in Juliet, Naked Trailer

Fangirls and boys are constantly fantasizing about a meet-cute with their favorite artists, but that concept gets turned on its head in the forthcoming romantic comedy Juliet, Naked (dir. Jesse Peretz), starring Rose Byrne, Ethan Hawke and Chris O’Dowd.

Annie (Byrne) is so tired of hearing her longtime boyfriend (O’Dowd) obsess over a mysterious rock star (Hawke) that she writes a negative review of his new album, seemingly to spite him. When the review intrigues the musician, the pair’s interest in each other develops beyond the music. The rom-com, based on the novel by Nick Hornby, looks refreshingly simple and light-hearted, and as we pointed out with Set It Up, we are yearning for this genre to make a comeback.
