Lin-Manuel Miranda, the superhuman who helped Hamilton win every single Tony ever, explained the Puerto Rico debt crisis with John Oliver and freestyled with Obama, will be leaving Hamilton on July 9, when his contract expires.

Per the Hollywood Reporter, Miranda will be leaving Hamilton to pursue his numerous other projects in the works, including a role in Disney’s Mary Poppins sequel, turning his first Broadway musical In the Heights into a movie and writing the music for Disney’s animated musical Moana, which hits theaters in November.

Other Hamilton cast members are demanding raises on their contracts, also expiring July 9. Decisions have yet to be made on who of those will return.
