Watch the Action-Filled Teaser for Star-Studded War Film Midway

Tackling Pearl Harbor and the chaos that ensued after, the teaser trailer for Midway sees a stellar cast deal with the perils of war.

From veteran disaster movie director Roland Emmerich (Independence Day, The Day After Tomorrow), Midway follows the aftermath of the Pearl Harbor attack and the Battle of Midway that marked a pivotal turning point in World War II. According to its official synopsis, “the film, based on the real-life events of this heroic feat, tells the story of the leaders and soldiers who used their instincts, fortitude and bravery to overcome the odds.”

The film has a stacked cast that will easily attract audiences based on the star power alone. Ed Skrein leads the cast, which also features Patrick Wilson, Luke Evans, Aaron Eckhart, Nick Jonas, Darren Criss, Mandy Moore, Dennis Quaid, Woody Harrelson and more.

Emmerich directs the film, with Wes Tooke (Colony) tackling the script and Harald Kloser (White House Down) producing.

The film is set to be released in theaters on Nov. 8, and if today’s first look tells us anything, the film is sure to be filled with lots of action and battle scenes.
