Moonlight Coming Exclusively to Amazon Prime Video

Moonlight is set to come to Amazon Prime Video exclusively through a renewal of a deal with the production studio A24, which has a pact with the streaming giant that has landed a bunch of other really good flicks on the streaming service, and nowhere else.

Moonlight had a good night at the Oscars, especially that moment, winning not only Best Picture, but Best Adapted Screenplay and Best Supporting Actor for Mahershala Ali, as well. The fact that Amazon Prime is landing the Best Picture winner is a big win for not only A24, which has some pretty impressive titles in their repertoire, but also for Amazon. Who else can say that they’re able to stream the underdog Oscar winner on their platform? Nobody, that’s who.

Other A24 titles coming to Amazon in 2017 are: Free Fire, 20th Century Women, The Lovers, American Honey, David Lowery’s A Ghost Story and It Comes at Night. This also includes any A24 titles in the future, as in those that are not yet made. They will join the ranks of Green Room, Ex Machina, The Lobster, Room, The Witch and more.

Moonlight comes to Amazon on May 21. Take a look at Paste’s list of the best movies on Amazon right now here, which is constantly updated as movies are added.
