A handful of new stills and behind-the-scenes shots from Quentin Tarantino’s forthcoming film Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood (newly stylized with the ellipsis) have just landed in an exclusive Vanity Fair preview. The highly anticipated epic explores the summer of 1969 in Hollywood and the events surrounding the Manson Family murders.
Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood boasts a star-studded cast that includes Margot Robbie as Sharon Tate, Leonardo DiCaprio as fictional actor Rick Dalton, and Brad Pitt as Dalton’s longtime friend and stunt double. The film features additional performances from Al Pacino, Dakota Fanning, Damian Lewis, Kurt Russell and many others.
Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood is set to be Tarantino’s ninth feature film, his last few being The Hateful Eight, Django Unchained and Inglourious Basterds. It could also be one of the 55-year-old auteur’s final films, as he has previously stated that he plans to retire from filmmaking at age 60.
Once Upon a Time … in Hollywood is poised to draw big summer crowds when it hits theaters July 26. Click through the new stills below. You can see the rest over at Vanity Fair.
