Jon Favreau is Back as Happy Hogan in Spider-Man: Homecoming

Movies News Spider-Man: Homecoming

Last seen lying in the hospital after one of the Mandarin’s attacks in Iron Man 3, it turns out Jon Favreau’s Happy Hogan is ready to get back into the action.

Variety reports that Favreau will reprise his role as Tony Stark’s driver and bodyguard in Spider-Man: Homecoming, though there are no details about what he’ll be doing or how big his role will be. Robert Downey Jr. has already been confirmed to appear in the movie, presumably acting as a mentor figure to Tom Holland’s Peter Parker, so it’s not unusual that Tony’s right-hand man would be tagging along.

It’s always cool to see even the minor characters pop up throughout the Marvel movies, especially if it’s in a different hero’s movie. What’s the fun in having a shared universe if everybody is stuck to one series of movies?

Spider-Man: Homecoming is slated for release on July 7, 2017. Find more of the film’s casting details here.
