Spider-Man Reboot to Include Comedian Hannibal Buress
Photo by Anna Webber/GettyComedian Hannibal Buress is the latest to join the cast of Spider-Man: Homecoming, according to Variety.
The stand-up comic and Broad City and Eric Andre Show actor has been transitioning into film recently and has been part of comedies such as Daddy’s Home and Neighbors.
Tom Holland will portray Peter Parker/Spider-Man in the Jon Watts-directed reboot, which takes the superhero back to his high school days. Marisa Tomei will play his Aunt May while Michael Keaton is taking on the role of the villain. Zendaya and most recently Donald Glover have also enlisted.
Burress’ character has yet to be revealed, though he did give us a tantalizing glimpse of the possibilities on Twitter.

Production on Spider-Man: Homecoming will start this summer, and the film will hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
