Oh wait, WRONG CREED. In fact, Michael B. Jordan (Friday Night Lights) stars as the son of Apollo Creed, the famous (fictional) rival of Rocky Balboa and the man who died in the ring after his beating at the hands Ivan Drago. Like Balboa, the young Creed grows up in Philadelphia, hardscrabble all the way, dreaming of making his name inside the ring like his old man before him. Ryan Coogler, who worked with Jordan in Fruitvale Station, will direct.
