The Lonely Island Movie Gets Title, New Poster

Last year it was announced that The Lonely Island comedy trio would be teaming up for their very own movie (like a boss), and now we can report that the movie has an official title and its first poster.

Andy Samberg, SNL alum and one-third of The Lonely Island crew, stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Monday and during his interview revealed the name of the movie, which will arrive in theaters on June 3. The film was written by and stars all three members of The Lonely Island, and was co-directed by members Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone.

Titled Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping, this Judd Apatow-produced comedy will follow Connor4Real (Samberg), a singer and rapper who faces a small identity (and popularity) crisis after his second album doesn’t live up to the hype.

The movie costars Sarah Silverman and Tim Meadows. Other comedy and music stars will be featured in their own cameos, according to Entertainment Weekly.
