Watch Chris Evans Smuggle Refugees to Safety in Trailer for Netflix’s The Red Sea Diving Resort

Chris Evans (and his beard) are headed to Netflix, and in the first trailer for the streaming service’s The Red Sea Diving Resort, Evans and a team of international agents are braving 1980s Sudan to save refugees.

Available to stream on July 31, The Red Sea Diving Resort is based on a true story and follows a group of undercover agents, led by Evans’ Ari Levinson, in the late ’70s and early ’80s as they infiltrate and attempt to smuggle refugees in Sudan over to Israel and away from the country’s oppressive and murderous government.

Starring alongside Evans is a star-studded cast including Michael K. Williams (When They See Us), Haley Bennett (The Girl on the Train), Michiel Huisman (The Haunting of Hill House), Alessandro Nivola (You Were Never Really Here), Chris Chalk (Homeland), Greg Kinnear (House of Cards) and Ben Kingsley (Perpetual Grace, LTD).

The film is directed by Israeli filmmaker Gideon Raff, who also penned the script, and is producing alongside Alexandra Milchan (The Terror) and Aaron L. Gilbert (Tully).
