The crew of the Enterprise is back in the first trailer for Star Trek Beyond. Helmed by J.J. The Force Awakens Abrams and Fast & Furious’s Justin Lin, the script was written by Simon Pegg and Doug Jung. This time around it seems the crew may have crash-landed on an alien world, a perfectly Star Trek problem to have. We also get more looks into some of the film’s new aliens.
The film bows into theaters July 22 and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho, Anton Yelchin, Joe Taslim, Sofia Boutella, and Idris Elba.
