Ralph and Vanellope Explore the Internet in Official Wreck-It Ralph 2 Trailer

Arcade game characters take, or break, the internet in the forthcoming Wreck-It Ralph sequel. The sequel to the 2012 film was announced in 2016 and will hit theaters at long last on Nov. 21 with a crew of new characters, as the official trailer reveals.

The film’s first teaser trailer showed Wreck-It Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz traveling into the internet and interacting for the first time with internet features that the audience is acutely familiar with, including pop-ups and eBay. The official trailer lets viewers see more of who inhabits the internet, including some familiar Disney faces alongside new ones.

The film takes a playful dig at predictive text/search suggestions through KnowsMore, the purple know-it-all working the searchbar: “My autofill is a touch aggressive today,” says KnowsMore after interrupting Ralph multiple times to guess what he’s trying to say.

While running away from stormtroopers, Vanellope ends up in a room with the seemingly equally aggressive Disney princesses—that is, until they determine she’s also a princess. Unlike some of the princesses, Vanellope doesn’t have magical attributes (like Rapunzel’s hair) or misadventures (like Sleeping Beauty’s curse or Belle’s captivity—”Are you guys ok, should I call the police?” Vanellope asks). However, she can answer yes to the well-timed question, “Do people assume all your problems got solved because a big strong man showed up?”

If the trailer is any sign, Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2 looks to be a funny, pop culture-referencing film.

Why isn’t it just called Ralph Wrecks the Internet, though? “Break the internet, it’s like a thing,” Yesss, the glamorous blue character, tells a confused Ralph and Vanellope.
