Beyoncé Surprise-Releases Homecoming Live Album Alongside Netflix Doc

Beyoncé has released her new Netflix documentary, Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé, and along with it a surprise new live album that serves as the soundtrack to the film. Homecoming chronicles the story of Beyoncé’s legendary 2018 Coachella performance and the sacrifices she had to make to realize her ambitious vision.

Homecoming: The Live Album includes Beyoncé’s full Coachella set, along with a new studio cover of the 1981 hit “Before I Let Go” by Frankie Beverly and Maze that appears in the credits of the Netflix film. The live album also features a rendition of “Lift Every Voice and Sing” by Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.

Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé was produced and directed by Beyoncé Knowles-Carter herself, and co-directed by her longtime collaborator Ed Burke. Steve Pamon and Erinn Williams served as executive producers on the film.
