New York indie/folk-rock quartet Big Thief are huge right now—in 2019, they released two critically lauded albums, first U.F.O.F., then Two Hands—the former was Grammy-nominated, and both LPs landed on Paste’s list of last year’s best.

The prolific output of near-impeccable work has led to the band’s mounting acclaim, even on late-night talk shows. Tuesday night, Big Thief performed the song “Shoulders” from Two Hands on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and their musical prowess and camaraderie dominated the stage.
