Former Blink-182 Member Tom DeLonge Is Crowdfunding a Spaceship

Tom DeLonge has plans for “engineering the fabric of Space-Time.” At least, this is what the former Blink-182 frontman announced earlier in a Facebook post that name-drops various government entities (CIA, DOD) and utilizes words of enormous importance (elite, instantaneously, revolutionize, invest). He’s raised over $380,000 for a spaceship, which is groupthink for “ElectroMagnetic Vehicle.”

A brief time warp: After splitting/getting the boot from Blink in 2015 and creating the Sekret Machines media franchise in 2016 with accompanying book Sekret Machines: Chasing Shadows, DeLonge was named UFO Researcher of the Year by Open Minds Productions, which is essentially an online UFO conspiracy network. This is partially due to his emails with Hillary Clinton’s campaign manager John Podesta, which leaked during last year’s big WikiLeaks campaign hack—so it seems DeLonge has met with government officials about pressing alien autopsy coverups. Last week, he announced the formation of To The Stars Academy Of Arts & Sciences.

As with any higher institution, To The Stars Academy Of Arts & Sciences will also function as a business whose primary function is investing in the future, which is space.

DeLonge said the following in a recent statement:

The public interest in the outer edges of science and the understanding of phenomena has always been suffocated by mainstream ideology and bureaucratic constraint. We believe there are discoveries within our reach that will revolutionize the human experience, but they can only be accomplished through the unrestricted support of breakthrough research and innovation.

Think about it: There is no other plausible reason that Tom DeLonge would separate from Blink-182 if it weren’t a matter of universal cosmic balance or national security. He tends to hold back information for fear of infrastructural collapse. In his acceptance speech for UFO Researcher of the Year—available in the player below, at five minutes in—DeLonge mentioned that he can’t even really divulge all the work that he has yet to do:

There’s a lot that I can’t say, but there’s some that I can. And I’m so appreciative that I’ve been acknowledged for this stuff, but I’m not done. I’m just like you guys. I spent 20 years up all night, reading about Roswell, Dulce, Serpo, Churchill, the crashes here, Nazis building craft there, Antarctica, what’s on Mars, what’s on the back of the moon, anomalous structures. I mean, I’ve done it all. I know it all. I read all the same authors as you guys, hundreds of books. I look at all the same sites. I listen to all the Coast To Coast stuff that you guys do. I’m the same. But I kind of used some of my notoriety to try to do something pretty ambitious, and it worked.

If you’re not ready for Tom DeLonge to put us in touch with aliens, you’re not alone—though you may not be alone, regardless. Below, we’ve included a live recording of “Aliens Exist” from 1999, when DeLonge revealed his source of most frustration.
