Bon Iver to Play New Album Live on Friday, Teases Artwork on Social Media
Photo by Amy Sussman/GettyIt’s true: Bon Iver have a new album around the corner, and the band will be playing it live this Friday at the Eaux Claires Art Festival, according to Pitchfork.
Justin Vernon, frontman of the group, said back in February that there would be new music for Eaux Claires, which is organized by Vernon with Aaron Dessner of The National, and which Bon Iver will be playing for the second year in a row. They played two still-unreleased songs at the festival in Vernon’s hometown last year, giving fans hope that more was on the way after the band went on an indefinite break in 2012.
