BRONCHO have just shared the music video for “NC-17,” one of the standout tracks from last year’s Just Enough Hip to Be Woman.
The video, directed by George Salisbury, sees the Norman, Oklahoma band corrupting one of America’s youth with pornography and rock ‘n roll, shown through fuzzy VHS-quality footage. The aged aesthetic of the video serves the throwback style of the band itself, whose dreamy vocals are washed out by fuzzy guitars and loud, propulsive drumming. Through all of that, the heart of “NC-17” shines through loud and clear with the endlessly catchy melodies in which BRONCHO are so adept at bathing their songs.
