Camp Cope Announce North America Headlining Tour

Camp Cope announced their first full North America headlining tour on Tuesday. The band’s coast-to-coast jaunt will kick off in Iowa in mid-April of 2019 before finishing up in St. Paul, Minn., in May.

Consider it a celebration following the alt-rock trio’s 2018 release of their critically acclaimed sophomore album How to Socialise & Make Friends. Consider it also, a tour of urgency—a tour that means business.

More than creating music that feels like the restless love child of Sleater-Kinney and Courtney Barnett, Camp Cope are inciting an uprising. Shortly after the release of their self-titled debut album in 2016, Camp Cope launched the It Takes One campaign to say enough is enough: no more sexual and physical assault at shows. The group have also been vocal in speaking out about the lack of representation in the music industry, and have hardly been shy in calling out festivals for their notably woman-lacking lineups.

Get up and rock out at one of Camp Cope’s tour dates, listed below. Pre-sale tickets for the tour are now available here ahead of the general on-sale on Wednesday, Feb. 6, starting at 10 a.m. local time.
