New York duo Cardiknox has a viral hit on Spotify right now and recently did a big photo shoot for Vogue. Not bad for a band that got its start performing a musical. Thomas Dutton had written a concept album with his old band and needed a libretto and found Lonnie Angle. The two have been focusing on Cardiknox ever since. We invited the band to perform at the Paste studio in NY during this year’s CMJ, and it was a treat to hear acoustic versions of their normally electro-pop songs.
