POP Montréal has announced the first wave of its 2025 lineup. The five-day festival, which takes place at different venues across the city, blends North American sensibilities with a European flair to create a boundless, genre-bending weekend with everything from reggaeton to shoegaze to dreampop. Standout acts include the likes of Chanel Beads, U.S. Girls, Billianne (who recently did a Paste Session in Austin), Fat Dog, DAM, and JayWood.
Now in its 24th year, POP Montréal is known for lineups spotlighting a combination of rising independent acts, local favorites, and left-of-center mainstays. Previous lineups have featured Beck, Interpol, SOPHIE, Ronnie Spector, Chairlift, Shonen Knife, and more.
