City Winery, the combo music-wine venue started by Michael Dorf, is opening a new location in Atlanta this May. The venue, like its sisters in Chicago, Nashville, Napa, and New York, will offer culinary classes, fine dining, and private events along with regular concerts. We’re already excited about the first concert it has scheduled: Mavis Staples, about whom we wrote a feature two days ago, will play on May 7, five days after the grand opening.

Tickets to all City Winery Atlanta events go on sale on Mar. 3, though the venue’s VinoFile members (more info here) will get access beginning on Feb. 25. See below for a list of upcoming concerts at the venue.
